Amer Justice, Community DirectorTezos has the ability to seamlessly evolve over time. Right now, Tezos is going through a voting period for its upcoming Protocol upgrade. This upgrade, called 'EDO', will feature significant improvements to the protocol. Key Features: - Adoption period: Just like any other feature of the protocol, Tezos protocol amendments may make changes to the amendment process itself. The adoption period will enable seamless transitions to new Tezos upgrades in shorter cycles. - Sapling: smart contract developers will be able to easily integrate Sapling in their smart contracts and create privacy-conscious applications - Tickets: Tickets provide a convenient mechanism for smart contracts to grant portable permissions or issue tokens without requiring the token holder or permission grantee to interact with a centralized contract. Taibah Valley has also become the first corporate entity in the Middle East to participate in the Tezos ecosystem as a corporate baker, meaning that it will now validate transactions (blocks) and add them to the Tezos blockchain Participating in the ecosystem as a baker not only strengthens the decentralization of the Tezos ecosystem but also reinforces its credibility and paves the way for future institutional adoption in the MENA region.
