If in effort to relieve some stress on the network due to attacks we have asked nicehash not to list Vertcoin following the hardfork of Verthash. We have sent the following message: As you may already know Vertcoin (VTC) has planned a hardfork at block 1,500,000 to change its hashing algorithm to Verthash. Knowing this, we are firmly requesting NiceHash not support our new algorithm as you did for Ethereum Classic. Vertcoin has suffered a few 51% attacks due to rented hash-power from your service. This caused financial losses for Vertcoin holders and delisting from exchanges. While the damage is already done we do not currently seek legal action, though that can change in the future. In the end we think it best your service parts ways with our coin. Thanks, The Vertcoin Team
