Launched in September 2017 as the ‘Walmart Food Safety Innovation Pipeline,’ the program is a unique platform to promote technological innovations in the food industry in China and the world. By focusing on specific areas each year and bringing together diverse stakeholders from across the food value chain, the initiative aims to accelerate technological innovation by assisting promising projects to test their feasibility and scalability in real-world supply chains quickly. In addition, the platform also seeks to attract new innovators to the food safety space. 创新平台于2017年9月启动，原名“沃尔玛食品安全创新平台”，是沃尔玛食品安全协作中心为促进食品行业技术创新而推出的重要项目。创新平台每年专注于特定领域，联合整个食品价值链上的利益相关方，支持具有前瞻性的技术创新项目在真实的供应链中验证其可行性和规模化的可能，以此加速该领域的创新。同时，创新平台也希望吸引更多创新者加入食品安全领域。 As we expand from food safety to food sustainability, health, and nutrition, we are working with our partners to drive this platform towards inspiring broader cutting-edge concepts and solutions.
