Back in December, the Helium Community approved HIP 19, a major improvement proposal to allow third-party manufacturers to build Hotspots compatible with The People's Network. With this approval came a flood of applications from manufacturers eager to help expand coverage. This week, the Decentralized Wireless Alliance announced the launch of new Helium network-compatible Hotspots brought to you by the approved manufacturers. In addition to RAK Hotspot Miners by RAKwireless and Cal-Chip Connected Devices, the newcomers approved by DeWi are as follows: Nebra, Bobcat (EasyLinkin), and SyncroB.it. To date, Nebra Hotspots and the Bobcat Miner by EasyLinkin have been tested and audited by the Helium team. SyncroB.it product has not been tested or audited by Helium or DeWi.
